Learn how to make your own flower arrangements! The Flowers By Number Starter Kit is a fun new product that allows you to create beautiful arrangements that look professional in quality. Following a similar model to Paint By Number, these kits feature templates with colored and numbered spots indicating where to insert which flowers and in which order. The patent-pending container includes a lid that frames the template and will keep your flowers in place. The lid and base of the container include extrusions that dig into the foam and secure the foam and template in place, which is very handy! Half-circle slots frame the circular template and foliage is inserted in these spots.

The brochure is extremely handy and gives a great overview of how to get started with your kit! You'll select five main flowers, sixteen accent flowers, and foliage all based on a color palette of your choice. The brochure includes some helpful palette ideas to get you started! Each flower recipe will indicate how long each stem should be cut using the helpful floral measure. The brochure also indicates that the flowers nearest the edge of the arrangement (number 10-25) should be inserted at a 45 degree angle to create a sophisticated, dome effect for your arrangement. Additional helpful tips include cutting the stem at an angle rather than straight across so it can be inserted into the foam more smoothly, and to bear in mind that the height of flower 1 will determine the height of your entire arrangement.
