Materials List

  • Scalloped lace fabric
  • Needle and thread
  • Reception chairs

Instructions

  1. Measure the distance from the point at which you want the cover to stop to the top of the chair. Multiply by two and 1". You should buy scalloped fabric that is that width so that both "bottoms" of the cover are scalloped.

  2. Measure the width of the chair from side to side and add 2". This is how long of a piece you should cut. If your lace is unraveling, you may need to use bias tape.

  3. Fold the piece of lace over the chair and sew the two sides shut.
