Try making yourself some Glitter Scallop Heels to put a little more bling in your step. These DIY shoes look great in any color, so you don't have to worry about your creative plans messing with the bride's color choices. If you're the bride and you're jealous of these stunning shoes, have no fear! We think they would look just as elegant in white, so feel free to do the same to your wedding shoes.

Materials:

 

  • Tulip Fashion Glitter® Fabric Glitter metallic 5-pack
  • Tulip Fashion Glitter Bond
  • Black high heel shoes
  • White colored pencils
  • Narrow paintbrush
  • Cookie sheet lined with foil

Instructions:

1. With the white pencil, draw a line from the base of where the heel attached to the shoe to the top of the shoe. Do this on both sides of the shoe.

2. Draw 3 evenly-spaced scallops along the white line you drew. Do this on both sides of the shoes.

3. With the narrow paintbrush, fill in the area drawn at the back of the heel with fashion glitter bond.

4. Working over your lined cookie sheet, sprinkle on a mix of fine silver and larger-fleck glitter. Cover the entire back of the shoe to the scallop edge you've drawn.

5. Add the Glitter Bond to the heel of the shoe and again, sprinkle on the mixed silver glitter. Repeat this process on the other shoe.

6. Tap to to remove any excess glitter.
