Crochet Favor SachetAre you the mother of the bride and hoping to help out with the wedding, or the Maid of Honor looking to fulfill her duties in the most unique way possible? Try making a Crochet Favor Sachet or ten. These can hold the bride's DIY wedding favors, or the favors for the bridal shower. Not only are they adorable and perfectly snow-white, but they're incredibly easy and just the right size for a tiny thank-you-for-coming gift. The bride will be ecstatic that you went through all of this effort for her, and the guests will love them.

Primary technique: Crochet

Time to Complete: In an evening

Easy

Materials:

  • 910-100 Lion Brand Microspun Yarn: Lily White - 1 Ball
  • Lion Brand Crochet Hook - Size G-6
  • Large-Eye Blunt Needles (Set of 6)
  • 24 in. (61 cm) satin ribbon, 1/4 in. (7 mm) wide

Measurements: 3 x 3 in. (7.5 x 7.5) cm, excluding top trim.

Abbreviations:

beg = begin(s)(ning)
ch(s) = chain(s)
dc = double crochet
hdc = half double crochet
rnd(s) = round(s)
sc = single crochet
sl st = slip stitch
st(s) = stitch(es)

Gauge: 15 sts = 4 in. (10 cm) BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you less stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.
