These peonies are perfection. I really had to look twice to make sure they weren't real! I have never seen the moulding over a bowl technique and I am quite eager to give it a try. The petals seem to hold their shape more than just trying to turn the petals by hand. I think that these would be stunning as centrepieces at a wedding or a bridal shower. The bonus is that you can keep them forever because tgey won't spoil!

Wow, these are so pretty and the title is spot on. They look so real! We had a back yard full of them in the North when I was growing up. Unfortunately they don't grow here in Florida. I miss them and lilac too. Now I can have some inexpensive ones in the house.

I'm always amazed by how realistic Lucy makes her paper flowers look! They never look as good when I try to make them, but practice makes perfect.

What a very low-cost way to make these beautiful flowers. I really like how you got creative with the petals and put them over a bowl to paint them and then finish them off in the microwave, so it is quick to create. Using the middle section of some tulips works perfect in this application, I cannot wait to make some of these just to put around the house when the couple gets married. I think it will be a beautiful surprise for when they come home from the honeymoon.
