Materials List

  • Steel Crochet Hook, Size 12 (1 mm)
  • Yarn: lisle = mercerized cotton n. 12 (Small amount)
  • 1 white elastic hair band
  • White cotton
  • Needle
  • 1 pearl bead (6mm)
  • Thimble (optional)

This pattern is worked in the round.

 

Substitute first dc on round 1 with 3 ch. Finish round with 1 sl st in beginning of round.

Instructions

  1. Ch 6 on hook size 1 mm / and form a ring with 1 sl st in first ch.

  2. Round 1:

  3. *1 dc, 2 ch in ch-ring* 8 times and finish with 1 sl st in 3rd ch from beg of round (8 ch2 spaces)

  4. Round 2:

  5. Work in every space: *1sc, 1 hdc, 2 dc, 1hdc, 1sc* (8 petals)

  6. Round 3:

  7. Working behind petals, *1 sc around post of first dc on Rnd 2, ch 3*, 8 times (8 ch3 spaces)

  8. Round 4:

  9. Work in every space: *1sc, 1 hdc, 3 dc, 1hdc, 1sc* (8 petals)

  10. Cut the thread.

  11. Fasten off.

  12. Sew the crochet irish rosette and the white bead to the elastic hair band.
