What a cute idea. I have seen them before and marveled at how pretty they were. I never thought I would be able to actually make one myself. I want to have it on my table at the bridal shower. Cookies or cup cakes would look just great on this. Thank you.

This is such a great idea! I have seen some really elegant a and unique cake plates made this way, but none with the crystal garland embellishment around these edge which really makes this so extra pretty and elegant. And not on,y is this a fun and practical,project, you will have a one of a kind piece worthy of becoming a cherished heirloom! Thanks for sharing!

I am so into the antique theme for weddings. I think the cake stand is half of the appearance of the overall wedding cake. I love the simple jewels hanging down from it!
