Romantically Rustic Bouquet and Boutonniere
Photography by Sweet Little Photographs
If you're throwing a rustic wedding, really throw a rustic wedding incorporating everything down to the smallest detail. Have your bridesmaids carry wheat bouquets and your groomsmen sport romanced redneck boutonnieres for a very fun, delicate, and gorgeous ceremony. Not only will you save a ton of money eliminating the bulk of the flowers with these darling details, but you'll also get a dreamy effect with the light colors and soft results. Match the flowers in the gentlemen's boutonnieres to your wedding colors for a cohesive celebration everyone will adore.
Materials:
- Wheat stalks
- Rope
- Hot glue gun (optional)
- Pink waxflowers
- Raffia ribbon
- Cowboy boots!
Instructions:
For bouquet:
1. Gather a bushel of wheat stalks and wrap with rope. To ensure security, first glue together the stalks about 3/4 of the way down where the rope will wrap around. Then, wrap the rope, adding a few dabs of hot glue between each row of rope.
2. Tie a knot at the end, and cut excess rope or let a few inches hang.
3. Carry down the aisle while sporting your most rustic cowboy boots for a truly down-home effect.
For boutonniere:
1. Gather a few stalks of wheat, interspersing a few pink waxflowers throughout.
2. Once the boutonniere is to your liking, wrap the stems and stalks with raffia ribbon. Tie to secure at the end.
