8 ch-2 space and 9 rows = 4” over pattern. CHECK YOUR GAUGE. Use any size hook to obtain the gauge.

 

NOTE: Shawl is made in two halves. Each half is worked from the center out to the outer (long) edge. After the first half is complete, the second half is worked beginning by working across the opposite side of the foundation chain of the first half.
