What a sweet and thoughtful craft idea! I like using creative ways to present a gift, and it doesn't get much more creative than a handmade gift box.

This is am wonderful tutorial on how to make a heart shaped box, which could hold candy, or a lovely presentation for a special gift! If it is for your mom, sister or a best girl friend, you could use the lace pattern as shown, but for your special fellow, it might look good in a faux leather look paper covering the card stock, or perhaps a plaid pattern! Great instructions... Thank you!
